Located in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, we’re a friendly, welcoming bar serving great beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. Established in 2016, we refurbished the bar in 2022 to create a more relaxed, casual feel to the bar.
Walk in - join us for an improptu drink, for a great night out, or pre and post dinner drinks. The upper bar remains a cosy lounge with a great private booth area, sofas and comfortable seating great for a group gathering, a night with friends or date night..?
We have a terrace at the rear of the bar which is not deliberately secret, but is not well known, a fabulous cosy, sun trap in beautiful surrounds of our location, in grade 2 listed building Vesey House on the High Street.
Open Thursday to Saturday, we also love to host private hire events, for which we require a minimum bar spend but the space is free to rent!
Gin tasting events take place twice per month with a great selection of specialist gins to try.
We pride ourselves on quality drinks, nibbles and service - you’ll always be greeted with a warm welcome, and no doubt some of our bar teams’ terrible jokes..!

Large Bookings
For large bookings for over 8 guests, why not book our booth area for a more private space. No deposit required all we ask is that you allow us to keep the drinks flowing.
For parties of 18 guests or more, this booking would be classed as a half venue hire. All the details surrounding our half and full venue hire can be found on our Private Hire page.

Always Gin but NOT JUST GIN..!
We serve a great range of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines - whilst we are big on gin our motto is" “ ALWAYS GIN BUT NEVER JUST GIN” !! With an expanding range of beers on draught and in bottles together with a great range of spirits, wines and cocktails we have some thing for everyone. If you are a real gin buff why not book onto one of our two gin tasting events each month — variety and specialist gins, these events are great fun, an ideal way to meet like minded folks or come with friends and family for something a little different.
